Dear colleagues!

The institute of Information and Computational Technologies CS MES RK within the framework of the National Institute for Development in the Field of Information Security of the Republic of Kazakhstan (announced by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 221 dated April 26, 2018), together with the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market, invites you to take part in the work of the International Conference “Actual problems of information security in Kazakhstan – APISK-21”, which will be held in Almaty on June 11, 2021.

DIRECTIONS OF THE CONFERENCE

  1. Approaches to the regulation of information security of financial market participants.
  2. Implementation of a centralized system for monitoring cyber incidents – automated information processing systems (AIPS).
  3. Results of a survey of Internet resources of second-tier banks.
  4. Current state and prospects for the development of means of cryptographic information protection (MCIP).
  5. Training, retraining and advanced training of personnel in the field of information security.

The purpose of the conference: discussion of topical issues of IT information protection and information security in the financial sector, direct dialogue between representatives of the industry (regulator) and exchange of experience.

Event target audience:

  • representatives of state authorities, quasi-state enterprises, scientific communities and universities;
  • representatives of financial organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan – responsible for ensuring information security, regardless of the form of ownership;
  • managers and specialists of companies-developers of information security means, telecommunications companies, telecom operators;
  • organizations carrying out their activities in the field of information security

CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION

To register as a participant in the APISK-2021 Conference, you must fill out the form and send it by e-mail: apibk21@ipic.kz or fill out a form on the website: https://conf.iict.kz.

Authors of reports also need to attach materials (abstracts) of the report prepared in accordance with the requirements for registration.

The participant’s questionnaire, requirements and examples of paperwork are posted on the website: https://conf.iict.kz.

Applications for participation in the APISK-2020 Conference are accepted until May 17, 2021 inclusive.

The reports received by the Organizing Committee no later than May 17, 2021 will be published in the collection of materials before the Conference (design template on the website).

Official languages of the conference are Kazakh, Russian, English.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

  • Dear colleagues!
    Please note that The Editorial Board reserves the right not to include papers that do not meet the requirements.
    Formatting  Guidelines:
    1. Papers may be submitted in Kazakh, Russian or English languages according to the template.
    2. Papers are accepted via e-mail to apibk21@ipic.kz until May 17,  2021.
    3. File name of a report shall contain only Arabic numerals and Latin letters: Section number. Author’s name (first co-author!) with the initials.
    Report title (abbreviation) by transliteration. For example: 1. Ivanov A.F. Izmerenie soprotivleniya.doc
    4. The text of the papers should be typed in text editor Microsoft Word and font -Times New Roman

Paper size – A4 (21 cm x 29,7 cm)
Margins: top – 2 cm; bottom – 2 cm; left – 2,5 cm;  right – 2.5 cm.
Papers should be prepared in the following order:
Title of the report
Title should be typed in uppercase letters,  bold (font size 14 PT) and centered between the left and right margins.
Please note that there should not be a dot after the title!
Surnames and initials of authors:
Name of authors should be typed in lowercase lettersIn case of more than one author the names the names are written in a row, separated by commas.
E-mail
Font – bold, font size – 14 PT, centered.
Organization name:
The organization name should be typed in lowercase letters.
Font – italic, font size – 13 PT, centered.
Name of the country:
The country name must be typed in capital letters.
Font – italic, font size –  13 PT, centered.

Abstract should be no more than 10 lines, which summarizes the purpose and  conclusions of the  paper  contained therein.
Font – italic, font size – 12 PT.
Alignment — width.

Font size – 12 PT, line spacing – single,  paragraph – 1 cm.
Alignment — width.

Formulas are typed in editors:  Math Type or Equation editor.
The numbering of formulas is on the right side

The figures should be placed within the work field. The caption is  under the figure . The name formatting and number of the figure – regular font size – 11 PT, centered, spacing – single. After the figure caption there should be a space before the following text. Please note that there should not be a dot after the figure  title.

Tables should be placed within the work field. The name of the table in the center (font size -12 PT.)

Do not use running heads.  The page number is bottom  centered,  starting from the 1st page.

In text citations and sources will appear as follows:
Text of the paper  … text of the paper [1].
Hyperlinks are used only for the resources from the Internet.

The list of references is placed at the end of the paper.  Font size 12 PT. Alignment — width.
[1] Surname and initials of the author/authors (in italics), name, imprint, including the name of the publishing office, etc.

The letter should attach a file to the application, which should  contain:
1) Full name of authors;
2) Place of work and position of authors;
3) Form of participation – full-time or part-time;
4) Paper title;
5) preferred form of presentation: plenary, section, poster;
6) E-mail. The Organizing Committee reserves the right of final decision of the report form and manuscripts will not be returned.
