ABOUT SEMINAR

Dear scientists, young specialists, doctoral and master’s students!
We invite you to participate in the sixteenth International Asian school-seminar “Optimization problems of complex systems”, which will be held from August 25 to 29, 2020 online.

THEME OF THE SCHOOL-SEMINAR:

  • Information, telecommunication and space technologies.
  • Information security and information protection.
  • Control problems and optimization of complex systems of collecting, processing, analyzing and storing spatial data.
  • Artificial intelligence and robotics.
  • Cloud, parallel and distributed computing. Big Data and Data Mining Technologies.

NOTICE:
All participants of the school-seminar, when registering their reports on the website, must select the appropriate section on the subject.

The purpose of the school is to bring together scientists from Kazakhstan, Russia and the CIS countries to conduct joint research, exchange experience on a number of optimization problems of complex systems, as well as  transfer new knowledge to doctoral and master’s students.

Selected articles in English will be published in two scientific journals included in the International Scopus database:
1. International Journal of Electronics and Telecommunications
2. Przeglad Elektrotechniczny

THE TERMS OF PARTICIPATION:

To register as a participant in the school-seminar, you should fill out a form and send it by e-mail: opcs@ipic.kz or fill out a form on the website: https://conf.iict.kz/opcs2020-en/.
Authors of reports should also attach materials (abstracts) of the report prepared in accordance with the requirements for registration.
The participant’s application form, requirements and examples of documents are available on the website: https://conf.iict.kz/opcs2020-en/.
Reports need to be submitted to the school’s website by July 31, 2020.
The reports selected by the Program Committee will be published in the school’s proceedings.
The deadline for publication of reports is August 10, 2020.

The working languages of the seminar are Kazakh, Russian, English.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

REQUIREMENTS for SUBMISSION of MATERIALS in the Proceedings of the school-seminar:

The text of the report of no more than 8 pages should be typed in the Word Editor. Formulas should be executed in the Microsoft Equation Editor. Page setting: Margins: top – 2 cm, bottom – 2 cm, left – 2,5 cm, right – 2.5 cm. Font: Times New Roman, (font size- 12), line spacing: single.

Title of the report should be typed in uppercase letters, bold (font size 14), below the names and initials of the authors (font size-12) – in lowercase bold letters, place of work (without abbreviations) – on the next line in italics (font size-12). Next, skip one line and give a brief summary of the article, keywords.

Figures and tables should be placed in the center, their sizes should not exceed the specified parameters of the printing field; numbering of tables and name – in the center; figures (diagrams, graphs) – as a single figure(group all elements of the figure, diagram, graph), name and captions-after the figure (diagrams, graphs) in the center.

References to literary sources are given in numbers in square brackets as they are mentioned. The list of references should be given according to GOST.  The text should be carefully verified and edited.

It is necessary to indicate information about the authors after the list of references:
– author’s name (first name and last name);
– academic title, academic degree;
– position;
– place of work (name of institution or organization, locality, country name (for foreign authors)).

UDC code need to be specified.

The file should be named according to the name of the first author (for example, IvanovGB.doc).

    Please note that the Editorial Board reserves the right not to include papers that do not meet the requirements and materials submitted after the deadline will not be accepted and reviewed.
