ABOUT CONFERENCE

Dear colleagues!

The Institute of Information and Computational Technologies CS MSHE RK, together with Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Lublin Technical University (Lublin, Poland), Turan University is holding in Almaty from 31 October to 01 November 2024,                                    the IX scientific conference “Computer Science and Applied Mathematics” dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi.

CONFERENCE DIRECTIONS

  1. Modern problems of applied mathematics, computer science, and control theory. Modeling and optimization of complex systems and business processes.
  2. Information and telecommunication technologies. Data transmission systems and networks. Internet technologies. Cloud technologies. Parallel computing. Distributed computing. Supercomputer and cluster systems. Big-data processing. Geographic information systems and technologies. Innovative educational technologies.
  3. Artificial intelligence technologies: Intelligent control systems. Speech technologies and computational linguistics. Pattern recognition and image processing. Bioinformatics and biometric systems. Human-machine interaction. Machine learning. Intelligent robotic systems.
  4. Information security and data protection: Software and hardware means of information protection. Cryptography. Mathematical methods of ensuring information security of complex systems.

The purpose of the conference is to discuss topical problems in the field of computer science and applied mathematics. The conference provides an opportunity to bring together scientists using advanced scientific achievements to solve applied problems, provide an opportunity for international exchange of experience, generation of new ideas and advanced training of scientific youth.

The target audience of the event is scientists, master’s students, doctoral students of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and near and far abroad countries.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION IN THE CONFERENCE

To register as a participant in the Conference “Computer Science and Applied Mathematics”, you need to register on the website: https://conf.iict.kz . Materials for publication should be sent to: conf2024@ipic.kz

Applications for participation and reports for the conference “Computer Science and Applied Mathematics” are accepted until October 12, 2024 (inclusive).

The authors of the reports should also attach materials prepared in accordance with the requirements for registration. For the collection of proceedings of the IIСT conference, articles are adopted with a volume of 4-5 pages in Kazakh or Russian (format template on the website).  Also, these articles will be published in the journals: Bulletin of KazNU series “Mathematics, Mechanics, Computer Science” and “Problems of Computer Science” IVM and MG (Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences). For a special issue in journals included in the Scopus and Web of Science databases, articles are accepted in English (template design on the website) in the standard design for Scopus and Clarivate Analytics. The publication of articles is planned following the results of the conference.

The reports received by the Organizing Committee no later than October 12, 2024, will be published in electronic form in the collection of materials before the conference (template design on the website).

The official languages of the conference are Kazakh, Russian, and English.

The registration fee:  for students – 5000 KZT, undergraduates – 10,000 KZT, doctoral students – 15,000 KZT, researchers and teaching staff – 25,000 KZT, foreign participants – 60 USD.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

  • Dear colleagues!
    Please note that The Editorial Board reserves the right not to include papers that do not meet the requirements.
    Formatting  Guidelines:
    1. Papers may be submitted in Kazakh, Russian or English languages according to the template.
    2. Papers are accepted via e-mail to conf@ipic.kz until October 05,  2024.
    3. File name of a report shall contain only Arabic numerals and Latin letters: Section number. Author’s name (first co-author!) with the initials.
    Report title (abbreviation) by transliteration. For example: 1. Ivanov A.F. Izmerenie soprotivleniya.doc
    4. The text of the papers should be typed in text editor Microsoft Word and font -Times New Roman

Paper size – A4 (21 cm x 29,7 cm)
Margins: top – 2 cm; bottom – 2 cm; left – 2,5 cm;  right – 2.5 cm.
Papers should be prepared in the following order:
Title of the report
Title should be typed in uppercase letters,  bold (font size 14 PT) and centered between the left and right margins.
Please note that there should not be a dot after the title!
Surnames and initials of authors:
Name of authors should be typed in lowercase lettersIn case of more than one author the names the names are written in a row, separated by commas.
Font – bold, font size – 14 PT, centered.
Organization name:
The organization name should be typed in lowercase letters.
Font – italic, font size – 13 PT, centered.
Name of the country:
The country name must be typed in capital letters.
Font – italic, font size –  13 PT, centered.

Abstract should be no more than 10 lines, which summarizes the purpose and  conclusions of the  paper  contained therein.
Font – italic, font size – 12 PT.
Alignment — width.

Font size – 12 PT, line spacing – single,  paragraph – 1 cm.
Alignment — width.

Formulas are typed in editors:  Math Type or Equation editor.
The numbering of formulas is on the right side

The figures should be placed within the work field. The caption is  under the figure . The name formatting and number of the figure – regular font size – 11 PT, centered, spacing – single. After the figure caption there should be a space before the following text. Please note that there should not be a dot after the figure  title.

Tables should be placed within the work field. The numbering of the table is on the left side. The name of the table in the center (font – italic, font size -12 PT.)

Do not use running heads.  The page number is bottom  centered,  starting from the 1st page.

In text citations and sources will appear as follows:
Text of the paper  … text of the paper [1].
Hyperlinks are used only for the resources from the Internet.

The list of references is placed at the end of the paper.  Font size 12 PT. Alignment — width.
[1] Surname and initials of the author/authors (in italics), name, imprint, including the name of the publishing office, etc.
